FAQ
MATTFIG FAQ
Quick answers before you choose a pack
Mattfig packs are digital tone products made for specific hardware and software platforms. Check the product title and compatibility line before purchasing, or use Tone Finder to narrow the catalog.
WHICH FORMAT SHOULD I BUY?
Choose the category that matches the system you use: Kemper, TONEX, NAM, Neural DSP Cortex, Line 6 Proxy, or Ampero II. Formats are not interchangeable. If you are unsure, start with Tone Finder.
HOW ARE MY FILES DELIVERED?
Most packs are delivered as digital downloads after checkout. Cortex products are shared to the verified Cortex Cloud username connected with Mattfig. Add your exact Cortex Cloud username to the order notes and follow Mattfig on Cortex Cloud so the captures can be shared to the correct account.
CAN I TRY A TONE FIRST?
Yes. Participating product pages include clearly labeled demos or sample links. You can also visit Free Tones for platform-specific ways to try Mattfig tones in your own rig.
HOW DOES CODE TONE WORK?
Choose any two or more eligible individual packs and enter TONE at checkout to save 40%. Premade collections are excluded. The eligible catalog is collected on the Build Your Own Bundle page.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A COLLECTION?
Each premade collection contains only the packs listed on that product page. Future releases are sold separately and are not automatically added to an existing collection.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CURRENT AND LEGACY PACKS?
Current releases use Mattfig's latest capture workflow for that platform. Legacy collections preserve earlier Mattfig releases and organize them into value-focused libraries. Read the individual product page for the exact version, contents, and compatibility.
DO PACKS INCLUDE CABINET AND DI OPTIONS?
Contents vary by pack. Product pages list the included capture types, speakers, channels, gain settings, and any DI options. If a feature is important to your rig, confirm it in the product description before purchasing.
WHERE CAN I HEAR DEMOS?
Participating products and collections include demo links on their product pages. Some packs are still awaiting dedicated demos; the written contents and any available samples remain listed on the page.
I STILL NEED HELP. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Use the contact page and include your platform, the amp or pack you are considering, and how you want the rig to sound or feel. For an existing order, include the order number.
