Capture Notes: I acquired this amp with the hope that it would have that low mid gut punch that Jerry's tone has. Well, it does, in spades! My next concern was making sure that this very quality was captured appropriately and provide that same gut punch that Jerry's tone does. Everything in this pack has been designed for ease of use and immediate satisfaction for the user. This is a tone I have chased for sometime. The JJ100 from Friedman was amazing and left me wondering what would be different about the Bogner. The answer to that, is that the Bogner has a low mid thing going on that an EQ cannot replicate in another amp. Hence, the gut punch.
You get the red and blue modes in Low Gain (LG), Mid Gain (MG), and High Gain (HG). Also normal and Deep (Dp) modes.
The studio 412 is a Bogner loaded with V30s and Greenbacks in an X-Pattern.
