The Sound

BC Lynx X Cortex Capture Pack

The BadCat Lynx X is a modern high-gain amplifier with a sharp, immediate attack, muscular low end, and enough clarity to keep complex chords from collapsing into a blur. It can move from tight, articulate crunch to aggressive saturation while retaining the lively feel and harmonic detail that make a great tube amp respond beneath the fingers.

This pack includes 18 professional V2 Cortex captures, covering a carefully selected range of gain levels from lower-gain breakup through saturated high-gain tones. Each capture was created to preserve the amp’s fast response, focused mids, controlled bass, and cutting upper-register detail. You get Channel 1 in Clean Mode (labeled Cl) and Crunch Mode (labeled Cr) as well as all of Channel 2. All in High Gain (HG), Mid Gain (MG) and Low Gain (LG).

What’s Included
18 professional V2 Cortex captures
Low, medium, and high-gain settings
Captures through a BadCat 4x12 cabinet
Full DI captures for use with your own cabinet or IR choices
Multiple tones designed for rhythm, lead, recording, and live performance

The cabinet captures deliver a finished, mix-ready sound with weight and definition, while the DI captures give you the flexibility to pair the Lynx X character with your preferred cabinet, IR, or power-amp setup.

Whether you need precise modern rhythm tones, roaring hard-rock gain, or a fluid lead voice with plenty of sustain, the BC Lynx X Cortex Capture Pack brings the amplifier’s aggressive personality and touch-sensitive response directly to your Neural DSP Cortex setup.

Please include your Neural DSP Cloud username in the Notes to Seller section during checkout. Captures are shared through the Neural DSP Cloud shortly after purchase. Please allow up to 12 hours for delivery.
