OR120 ToneX Capture Pack

The OR120 is a famously powerful amplifier with an unmistakably thick, aggressive voice. A major part of its flexibility comes from its six-position F.A.C. control, which progressively reduces low frequencies as it moves through its settings.

For this pack, I used the first four F.A.C. positions to cover everything from massive bass sounds to increasingly focused guitar tones:

• FAC 1 – Bass: The darkest and fullest setting. These captures run through an Ampeg SVT 8×10 cabinet for an enormous, room-filling bass sound.
• FAC 2 – Dark: A thick, low-end-rich guitar voice captured through a vintage Orange/Matamp 4×12 loaded with Greenbacks.
• FAC 3 – Normal: A balanced version of the classic OR120 sound, also captured through the Greenback-loaded 4×12.
• FAC 4 – Bright: A tighter, more cutting sound with added clarity and definition through the same 4×12.

The guitar captures use my familiar LG, MG, and HG markings for low, mid, and high-gain settings. A complete set of DI captures is also included, allowing you to pair these tones with your own cabinets and impulse responses.

Altogether, the pack includes 24 professional ToneX V2 captures, covering huge bass tones, thick vintage guitar sounds, balanced rhythm voices, and brighter settings that cut naturally through a mix.
