Profilers notes: I acquired this amp with the hope that it would have that low mid gut punch that Jerry's tone has. Well, it does, in spades! My next concern was making sure that this very quality was captured appropriately and provide that same gut punch that Jerry's tone does. Everything in this pack has been designed for ease of use and immediate satisfaction for the user. This is a tone I have chased for sometime. The JJ 100 from Friedman was amazing and left me wondering what would be different about the Bogner. The answer to that, is that the Bogner has a low mid thing going on that an EQ cannot replicate in another amp. Hence, the gut punch.
You get the red and blue modes. I did this a little differently so it would fit adjustments on the liquid side. I put a lot of thought into it, I did this a little differently so it would accommodate adjustments.
Angry Red: An angry high gain red channel fitted with the fried HBE amp model for adjustment.
Calm Red: A more subdued gain of the red channel fitted with the BE amp model for adjustment.
Angry Blue: The aggressive side of the blue channel fit to the Mars800 amp model for adjustment.
Calm Blue: The polite side of the blue channel fit to MarsPlex amp model for adjustment.
