The capture rig

A Myasnikov CCV preamp into a Friedman Jose power section, with an old Sunn 4×12 loaded with DV77s and Greenbacks. Expect low-gain bite through saturated high-gain drive, with DI and 4×12 versions.

Normal, Sat1 and Sat2

Normal (Nrm), Sat1 and Sat2 describe the gain staging used during capture. The CCV Gain Stage toggle changes the clipping and signal compression: Normal is the center position with the least compression, Sat1 is the left position with added clipping and compression, and Sat2 is the right position with the most saturated, compressed response. LG, MG and HG identify low, medium and high gain within each Gain Stage setting.

Kemper profiles

The upcoming V2 pack will bring the CCV rig to Kemper, with studio profiles including the Sunn 4×12 cabinet and DI profiles for use with your own cabinet or IR.
