I am a tinkerer. I love Friedman amps. I have been testing modifications with this amp for sometime. I have landed on a mod that retains character and clarity while adding gain and beef. I also modified channel 1 to be a pristine AC30 like clean. It still sounds very much like the original in character, it just has more of what the Bogner version (Snorkeler) brings to the table too.
